AX is built on the belief that the Allegheny mountains, from State College to Charleston, offer some of the finest places in the world to ride, paddle, hike, run and explore. Our goal is to get you connected with them so you find adventure, solace, refreshment, memories and even a great story to share.
/ TRIBAL CODE

Our code is simple:
-
Courtesy to all on the road, trail or stream
-
Get wet, muddy or drenched in sweat
-
Do no harm to the landscape and others
-
Celebrate the adventure wisely and with gusto
-
Invite others to the adventure
03
/ SHARE
AlleghenyX is about creating and sharing the great treasure trove of information and stories that will help you find your great trail, vista or tale. We share so others can also share in the adventure found in the Allegheny Kingdom.
WHAT WE CARE ABOUT
01
/ GETTING WET AND MUDDY
The fastest way to disengage from this digital world is to dump the screen and head for the roaring stream, muddy trail or the highest hill. If you emerge from your adventure tired, covered in grit and soaked to the bone, you have done your mind and body a great service. The last thing to do is to share your story over a cool beverages. The Allegheny Kingdom offers tons of refreshment for your body and soul.
/ CELEBRATING THE ADVENTURE
02
Since the first camp fire was lit, mankind has been sharing the adventure of life in the flickers of flames. The members of the Adventure Tribes that live and visit the Allegheny Kingdom celebrate their passion over scores of events both formal and informal. Sharing the adventure is half of the fun of going... so you can brag about how you ascended a trail in a surprise thunderstorm or watched a bear walk off with your best pack. Make your stories and celebrate with us!
As passionate riders, runners, paddlers and hikers in the region, we all must be good stewards of the land and water. Making sure we conduct ourselves in ways that keep our resources intact and ready for the next person is critical to the sustainability of this Kingdom of Adventure. If you have any doubts about how you are using or relating with the natural world....ask yourself, would your Mom approve?
