The Appalachian Telemark Association invites experience and tyros to their annual Telepalooza event at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in February. This is an association of "freeheeled" skiiers that enjoy showing that any terrain with snow is their terrain.

The Pennsylvania Cross Country Ski Association members enjoy all aspects of cross-country skiing, from back-country exploration to casual skiing, touring and racing. They sponsor lessons, trail maintenance, webcams on the Laurel Highlands and an annual race.
